It is no use reading books of guidance if one is not determined to live what they teach. Blessings - The Mother

THE INTEGRAL YOGA: SRI AUROBINDO'S TEACHING AND METHOD OF PRACTICE
"One of the foremost Indian philosophers of the twentieth century, Sri Aurobindo was also a political activist, a mystic and a spiritual leader. Between 1927 and 1950, Sri Aurobindo remained in seclusion while perfecting a new kind of spiritual practice he called the Integral Yoga. During this period he gave detailed guidance to disciples and seekers, responding to thousands of inquiries. This correspondance constitutes a major body of work on the practice of yoga-sadhana. The present volume brings together a comprehensive selection of Sri Aurobindo's letters, organized by area of interest. An ideal introduction to his work and vision, it will also serve as an invaluable daily handbook for seekers of all paths - beginners and experienced practitioners alike."
THE SUNLIT PATH by THE MOTHER
"There is always (it is probably inevitable) the path of struggle and then there is the sunlit path. And after much study and investigation, I have had a sort of spiritual ambition, if it may be called that, to bring to the world a sunlit path in order to eliminate the need for suffering and struggle..."
THE SYNTHESIS OF YOGA
"Truth of philosophy is of a merely theoretical value unless it can be lived, and we have therefore tried in The Synthesis of Yoga to arrive at a synthetical view of the principles and methods of the various lines of spiritual self-discipline and the way in which they can lead to an integral divine life in the human existence."

THE PSYCHIC BEING: SOUL: ITS NATURE, MISSION AND EVOLUTION
Within Sri Aurobindo's philosophy there are two primary components, imo, if it were possible to possibly divide it as such. One would be the Supramental, the Divine above us, which is trying to descend down into us to transform our nature into the DIvine's. The Second would be the Inner Psychic Being, or Soul, within, our own spark or piece of the Divine that is has secretly been guiding our nature and can become the sole leader of our upward march towards the Divine. The Inner Guide. The Inner Flame.
THE LIFE DIVINE
"Sri Aurobindo's principal philosophic work, a theory of spiritual evolution culminating in the transformation of man from a mental into a supramental being and the advent of a divine life upon earth."
